The Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 has just begun, running from November 30 to December 21, 2024. Eight teams are competing in this inaugural season.
NPL 2024 37 players from 16 countries are coming to play NPL
The team has roped in foreign players but the settlement amount of most of the players has not been disclosed. According to an information, India’s Shikhar Dhawan has taken 30 thousand US dollars (40 lakh rupees) for one game. He has tied up with Karnali Yaks for a minimum of four games.
Famous players like Australia’s Ben Cutting (Lumbini Lions), New Zealand’s Martin Guptill (Biratnagar Kings), New Zealand’s Jimmy Nisham (Janakpur Bolts) are also coming for the league. The settlement amount of these players has not been made public.
Eight marquee players from Nepal in the league get Rs 20 lakh. Similarly, A Kyatagori players get a maximum of Rs 15 lakh. The 80 Nepali players roped in by Aksan get a minimum of Rs 2 lakh to a maximum of Rs 15 lakh.
